The Angel that I was stitching for .....

These are the sewing items that I stitched for my Secret Stitching Angel who is a lovely girl called Tomi from Illinois. Tomi told me that she liked dark and muddy colours, similar to Thimbleberries fabric line. I can now post the photos as I didn't want to spoil the surprise for her.

I love this armchair caddy, I love the little pumpkins of the main fabric, I get the impression that this was her favourite.

I also stitched Tomi a little bag with blue wrens on it by from a pattern by Cinderberry Stitches.

The third project that I made was a needle holder from a pattern by Plumcute Designs, I love the colours in this and the feel of the felt.

I did also buy her some other things and in my panic to get everything posted on time I forgot to put them in her parcel, so as soon as she receives them I will post another photo.

I received an email to say that she received my parcel and also to say that she loved everything, I am so glad. It was a pleasure to stitch for you and I now count on you as a friend.

I think that I can firmly say that this has been a most successful swap I have met two wonderful new friends and it has been a pleasure to stitch the wonderful projects from the very gifted designers. Also I need to say a really big thank you to Helen of Hugs 'n' Kisses for organising this fabulous inernational swap - roll on next year!
