Its Christmas Time.....

Well, my one and only Christmas Craft Fair was on Monday evening and I must say that I am pretty pleased with how things went.

All those weeks of sewing to the early hours have paid off and now I am left with hours of undone ironing and also make a start to decorate my home for Christmas.

This is my 3rd Christmas Craft Fair at this venue and I have found in the past that it seems to be the smaller items that sell well, so that is what I concentrated on again this year. I got some really gorgeous patterns for little angels, I thought they looked really great, and thankfully so did my customers as they sold really quickly and I have some orders to make for others.

I didn't make any bags this year as in the past they didn't sell as well as the smaller items.

I do enjoy Craft Fairs as I love to see what everyone else has made and there is always a great buzz and it really gets me in the Christmas mood. I have a couple of orders to finish and then I will take a break from sewing until after Christmas. I have a few projects that I really would like to be getting on with so these can wait until then.

I am also planning to start a new Block of the Month, 'It's a Redwork Christmas' by Rosalie Quinlan, next year, that is if I can manage to finish (ahem I mean start!!!!) the gorgeous Block of the Month 'Little Bluebirds'.

I hope everyone is enjoying the run up to Christmas and I really hope that you are better prepared for Christmas than I am, which at this point in time wouldn't be difficult lol.

I hope you like the photos of some of the items I made for the Craft Fair.

If you read my previous post you will see that I have passed on the award for Kreativ Blogger to Debra of Wattle Bee Designs and guess what she is doing a fabulous giveaway on her blog for a free pattern of your choice, just leave her a comment for a chance to win.

What wonderful work you had at the Fair and I am so glad that it went well for you. The new Christmas look blog is great. Happy Weekend. Relax and do something nice for yourself after all that hard work. hugs Margie.

Hi Stephanie,
You have done a fabulous job and I'm glad the fair went well. I really love the gingerbread dolls, they are adorable and the winged hearts are very clever.
Yep, I know what you mean about catching up on non-crafty things. Christmas lunch is at our house again this year so 'everything' needs to be done beforehand.
Thanks for your support with the comp, I appreciate it.
Your always so spot on with your blog design....great look!
Enjoy the break
Deb

I adore the little snowgirls in their white net skirts. You're very talented Stephanie. You should consider getting yourself a website. x x x x
