A Quick Catch Up

I have been neglecting my blog lately, sorry.

I used to blog regularly but I am finding myself split between here and Facebook, Twitter, Flickr etc  - you get the picture.
I enjoy my blog and all the lovely blogging friends I have met along the way and I don't want to lose any of that.
So I have been thinking that I should maybe have a regular feature or topic so that I have a routine and not neglect my lovely blog - what do you think?

Anyway once I think of something that is of interest to me, and of course to you my lovely readers, I will set the wheels in motion. If you have any ideas or suggestions to help with this dilemma please email me I would really appreciate the help and ideas.

I haven't been slacking you know ;) so this is a little catch up to bring you bang up to date with what has been keeping me busy over the past while, and I don't think I have told you about yet

I was very fortunate to  to be chosen as a bag pattern tester for Jen Giddens new pattern the Sunburst Sling Bag and I have to say I love it and is one of my fave bags at the moment.
Just the right size for me, I like a good sized bag, and with a zipper top - super instructions too!

Then a friend had a birthday so I made her this lunch bag, the colours are just perfect for her.

I even put a little matching napkin inside the front pocket.  I think I might make more of these little bags for my website soon.

Also I think I have mentioned before that I am extremely lucky to be one of  the bag pattern testers for ChrisW Designs  There is a really lovely group of us from all over the world, so I am feeling very fortunate to be included in such a creative, talented and friendly group (and I also get to see Chris's patterns before they are released) :)

Well, the last pattern I tested for Chris was the Matilda Dance Tote Pattern
Now, I dont dance but this is a very nice bag and I chose to make the faux leather tote - first time sewing with this type of fabric and I was more than a little nervous.  I needn't have worried, as always Chris has the best and clearest instructions and also a special tutorial on sewing with non cotton fabrics - excellent.

I really love this bag and this is the lining (Amy Butler, of course) and this bag is my new favourite now!

This is my current quilting project that I am working on - it might take me some time to finish!

And finally I made one each of these for my sons for Easter, as well as getting an Easter Egg, a fabric guitar strap and used this tutorial
I am also thinking of making some of these for my website too!

Phew!  Thank you for giving up your precious time and reading this long post with many photos :0)xx
